Debt Solutions issues?

back in 2006 I was in financial dier strats with credit card debt… I hired a debt solutions facility to help me out… they did like 4 cc negotiations for me and got them paid off. I had more cards but could not afford the program any longer due the the high fees this company charged. A junk debt collection agency I sent a debt validation letter to them. they responded by senting me a partial copy of a cc statement with my name on it but with the Debt Soultion company address. Now 9 months later a collection law firm is trying to collect on this debt that will be SOL in august this year. So I did sent this law firm a debt validation letter and all they sent back to me was on letter head the same stuff I would see on my credit report is this sufficient validation? I may have paid this card off already ~ can they try to get more money out of me? Unfortunately I have no proof of paying this off and I can not get in contact with this debt agency any longer I AM STUCK. I am disputing the charges and if i owe this any longer. What are my options?
I have checked my credit report with Equifax and it was reported by the collection agency as an open account and that I disputed it after resolution ~~~
Am now sending out second request for validation, specifically asking for my signature and how amount and interest was determined.

I AM ABOUT 12,000.00 IN DEBT (CREDIT CARDS),AND MY HOURS WERE CUT ON THE JOBS BECAUSE BUSINESS IS SLOW,DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A LAGIT DEBT SOLUTIONS COMPANY THAT CAN HELP ME ELIMATE THIS DEBT.AND THATS NOT GOING TO SWINDEL ME OUT OF MONEY.

Would you rather save to pay off your debt…. or save to buy something new?

With our next tax refund check, I really want to save it so that we can pay off a good portion of our debt… if we don’t do this, I fear the four years that the debt solutions company is giving us will take much longer. BUT, my husband thinks we should use the money for other things, such as new windows and other things for the house. In my opinion, the things for the house can wait once we’re out of debt! How do I convince him?

My fiance is in DEBT…How do we get out!!??

My fiance is being sued by a company he owes money for. The total is: 84,66 dollars. He called today and he offered to pay bucks a month. They told him that they would not take it. They want him to pay either 2.00 down then 5.00 a month….OR 5.00 a month!!! And the interest rate goes up a dollar a day!!! It will not freez!! What the hell?? They will not take his offer. Only their offer stands. What are we going to do?? Im desperate to find answers. I don’t want him to end up in jail……What soultions can we take that we can trust? I looked online for debt solutions…but what companys are true to their word? Why do we live in a society where you go to find help…all companys want to do is screw you over…Is this actualy legal what these people are trying to do to my fiance?? Not taking his dollar a month offer and wanting him to pay 185 or 225 per month instead?? Will he go to jail if he doesnt pay up? How can he be forced to give up money that we don’t have?

why do i keep getting rogue sites popping up with full window while im browsing??

they are not pop ups because i have a filter for that but they are full windows that overide my previous window and all seem to be either money or debt solutions and false competitions e.g free playstation?
How do i stop or get rid of these????

What happens if you get out of a debt management program?

Im a 22 year old full time college student with a part time job. About three months ago I joined in charge debt solutions because I thought it would be easier for me to manage my credit card bills that way. However now after joining, I’m realizing that Im unable to keep up with the payments Im making to them. It’s like after my other bills and this payment are taken out every month, I hardly have any money left and I think I’ve put myself in a bind. If I leave the program now will this mess up my credit, will it make it harder for me to join a debt management program in the future, will my creditors be resistant to work things out with me in the future because of this? I simply just can’t afford to be in the program now.
