Who would be the best canidate to run for president? We need someone capable willing to take responsibility.?

Someone who would clean up this country. corruption, unemployment, graft, lobbyist, monopolies, in general straighten the country out. Eliminate unemployment welfare & return America to a working class country again. Someone to stand up & work with congress to reduce our national debt & work out a responsible solution to spending money we do not have. Someone who would put this nation back in order before attempting to organize someone else’s mess. We have a sufficent mess right here without looking for another to cleanup at the present time. Thankyou for your response.

Global Credit Card / Debt Management Service – Companies Doing Fraud?

I am constantly being called by two companies, Global Credit Card and Debt Management Service, these two companies constantly ring me and offer me Credit Cards solutions to help me get out of debt. Now when I wish to enquire about the company, such as the name of the person that I am speaking to, where they are based, a website, a contact telephone number I am told that they do not need to give me that information. Now I don’t know about you guys if you are getting the same kind of nuisance as me but I really want to get these guys caught. Last time I was sucked in, I was offered a pre approved £4000 credit card, when with my credit history I can’t even get a £1000 credit card. So I ask them how can they approve me already, how do they know my details on how they can approve me, I get the response that I am chosen from a selected few to receive this 5 year anniversary offer. Okay so basically I was told that with £2 I can have the pack sent out to me, so I thought why not see what they can offer me, soon as I gave them my details I had £12 taken out of my account. Now the only bit of information that I was given about the company is that they’re on Cleveland Road in London I wouldn’t take that information 100% accurate. They also interrogate you to pay a monthly fee to charity where the person will tell you that you don’t have to contribute, I didn’t want to contribute but this conversation went on for about 20 minutes on the phone as to why I don’t want to pay them and all I got was the vibe that I’m not going anywhere until you pay us the amount.

If you refuse to speak to them once, they will ring you back.

If you offered them your details and they took extra money out and you can’t do nothing about it well they will ring you back under a different company name.

Global Credit Card & Debt Management Services are FRAUD companies.

I repeat they are companies who are doing fraud. Do not give them any information, slowly, slowly they will build up the details of your home, email, work history. With this information they can do anything. Immediately if you think you have been effected change your card, call the report it missing or stolen line at the back of the card and check your statements.

If anything the name of the company will appear on your statement under this name CALLEMATICS LTD. The address for the company is CALLEMATICS LIMITED, 74 Cleveland Street, LONDON, W1T 6NA. But I fear this will only be the name of the company which provides its call centre information

If you have any experiences with this company, please state here.

Is it selfish to want to keep the money? *help is greatly needed!*?

I wrote a similar question awhile ago, but I still would like some more opinions concerning the issue at hand. Here are the details:

Both my Grandfather (on my Father’s side) and my Dad sued each other over money when I was little. I haven’t seen or spoken to my Grandfather for like 12 years because of what happened. Last Summer, I wanted to reach out to him because I missed him. So without my dad’s knowledge, I contacted my Grandfather and we’ve been occasionally emailing each other back and forth. However, this year I also got something dealing w/ money. My Aunt (dad’s sister) found that there was money left behind in unclaimed property. My grandfather apparently put money underneath my name when I was really young in stocks/mutual funds. Now, I would love to say he did it with the intention for me to have it when I grew older. But my family has been known to hide money under other peoples’ names (whether it’s for tax evasion, etc…i really don’t know). So, together we claimed the money. My aunt and grandfather, however, thought all or at least half was going to go to my Grandfather (if all went to him, he would give me "some"). Well it turns out, I’m entitled to the full amount (a little over 17 thousand dollars) because of some kind of minor protection law. When my aunt found this out, she was upset and asked for me to give all of it to my Grandpa.

Everyone I spoke w/ thought it was kind of odd how I was getting all this pressure from my aunt. I, at the time, thought nothing of it. But when I emailed my Grandfather about the matter, I learned that he had some IRS problems & he borrowed some money from my aunt to handle the situation. So this entire time I felt a little mislead since I was told that this would be a "good thing for me" (when I was approached about it from my aunt). Instead of really having my best interest in mine, it appears that she had her own agenda/incentive.

Now they want to use the money I received in order to pay off their debts. My grandfather sent me a message telling me to give him and my aunt their half (I would keep like ,500). While I’m sympathetic to his situation, I can’t help but think "Why is their debt problems my problem?" I attend the 7th most expensive university in the U.S. Surely I can put this money towards my future (trust me, It won’t last long with my tuition). Also, touching/claiming this money alone is going to negatively impact my financial aid. Moreover, my relationship w/ my dad is unstable to say the least (my dad’s side is a little psycho), so having this security will help me break my dependence on him (I can be kicked out at any time given his uncontrollable, bi-polar-like temper). So if you were me, what would you do?I have to make this difficult decision quick as I keep getting messages about it asking where the money is. They said that they would help me pay for school. But if they can’t even afford to pay 5 thousand dollars without my help, there’s just no way they can afford my schooling. Plus, they’re adults who have their ways of handling their own problems w/o relying on money that has been siting, unclaimed for so long (like selling their assets, etc.). My point being, I feel as if they just don’t want to give up anything they currently have to make up for their lost. So my money is the easy solution to their problem (maybe it’s just my thinking). I’m not one to be greedy, but I’m just confused on what would be the SMART decision. I want to remain on good standings w/ my grandfather, but I also want my security net. Is it wrong to put yourself first?

Thanks for the help!
Casey > I just wanted to add something in my defense. I did put that my family has a tendency to hide money under other peoples’ names. My dad does it all the time w/o having any intention of giving it to the actual person (whose name the money is under). No matter what way you look at it, this is a shady thing to do (since you’re taking advantage of a person who isn’t aware of what’s happening) & contradicts your "moral" responsibility argument.

On another note, I really don’t appreciate your accusations w/ calling me greedy and so forth. This "labeling" can easily be turned around onto the other party. I’m not trying to justify my view, I’m just asking for a little perspective when answering this delicate question. If I gave you ALL the past details of how my Dad side’s sued my mother’s family & took them to court continuously until they lost 150K (and lied for my dad when he was in clear violation of the law), well initial points of view kind of turn a little don’t they? In additi
(continued due to character restraints) > In addition, you don’t think that minor protection law was placed there for a reason? I believe that it was placed there so youths don’t get taken advantage of by others who simply USE their name(s) for underhanded money purposes. My point being, the law isn’t entirely void of basic morals.

Debt solution?

Here is my situation:

5 credit cards all 90-120 days past due and at each at least 0.00 over the limit

Total debt is around 00.00

Interest rates are between 30% & 35%

No money in savings

And after all my bills are paid I am left with 0 a month to put toward debt.

My first thought was to increase my income by getting a second job, but due to where I live (income controlled community) I cannot increase my income and continue to live where I am at. I am in the 4th month of a 15 month lease, so it will be a while before I could move out. I don’t want to look at that as an option because I am getting a bargain on my rent. I have cut down my expenses by eliminating cable and internet service, and I have also gotten rid of my cell phone. I do not want to file bankruptcy. What other options do I have?
By the way… just in case you were wondering I was doing fine with my credit until I had a medical emergency.

Collections Agency took money out before said date, they want to put a warrant of arrest for bounced check….?

AllState Financial has been contacting me on my cell phone nonstop about an Applied account I had and that they now are in charge of. I have never recieved a letter or anything stating that I owed them. They only have left messages with claim numbers that said to call back. When I finally did call, they said I had to pay ,344.90 in full and pretty much, that there was no other option or they would file the lawsuit against me (the amount owed at Applied was less than that amount but I understand if they charged me for nonpayment – & before you judge and say it was my fault for going into debt, please understand that not anyone is blessed the same way with money. I had to stop working for a while for health reasons.)

I explained that my bank account didn’t have money at the moment b/c the bank and I actually were going through a fraud case where someone in another city somehow got a hold of my debit card info and made a replica of it and took out money I had in there (AllState Financial said that I was lying pretty much – apparently I can’t be a victim of fraud). The bank was gonna give me my money back that following week (provisional credit) but it was for my rent but the guy said I had till October 2 to put the money in, to call before if I didn’t have the money. I said OK, gave him my bank info (since he pretty much threatened a lawsuit against me & I was going to put more money in for the debt). Well, I didn’t get my provisional credit when they said they would give it and the extra money I had, it was for my rent. I called on the 1st of October in the morning telling them (AllState Financial) that I didn’t have the money yet. They said why didn’t I tell them before (they didn’t tell me that they already tried taking the money out on September 29).

I told them I would call them when I had the money in or If I could make monthly payments and set that up – they said No, it was too late for that. I said I would call when I got more money then, they said Ok & hung up on me. Then I get a call today, the 4th of October and they say that since the check that I have them bounced, they will have a warrant for my arrest on the 6th if I don’t pay in full. I said I had called before the 2nd to state that I didn’t have the funds. They said they took it out the last day of September and that it was gonna post on the 2nd and I had to say 72 hours before that I couldn’t pay (they hadn’t told me this). He said they have a recording of me giving my bank info and stating that I would pay that amount and it bounced so that they were gonna file a warrant for my arrest and I would go to jail.

I said if I can make payments thru INCHARGE DEBT SOLUTIONS (the people there said that Allstate accepts payment thru them and they are just trying to scare me so that I can pay in full) but they said they will not accept payments from INCHARGE. I’m a mother of a two month old and I haven’t been working b/c I’ve been sick the whole time (during and after pregnancy). I AM trying to get my debts back in order (they aren’t a lot – just a few) but at least I’m trying. But what I’m asking is, will they seriously issue a warrant for my arrest for one bounced check? I know I said I would pay but I told them before they had told me to call and it’s not like I’m not wanting to pay them. I do but I can only make montly payments. It’s either pay them in full or get evicted from my apartment with my two month old with nowhere to go. And by the way, the people at AllState are not the nicest people to talk to. I have tried talking in a nice manner but THEY are the ones that are so rude and I’m trying to work with them but every answer is a NO. TOO LATE. There have been a lot of people in my situation ( http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-866-508-1877 ) but I haven’t read about getting threatened to have a warrant out for your arrest. Please help, I’m freaking out here. :(
I have tried explaining my bank situation to the Collections agency – they barely give me a chance to talk. They basically say that they don’t care about my personal and financial problems (having a fraud case investigated on my bank account is my problem & "doesn’t make sense to them") and they pretty much just want the money. I have to give them an answer on how I’m gonna pay (by check, money order, etc.) by Monday, the 6th or they will send a warrant for my arrest. I don’t have anyone here to lend me money and I doubt my bank would give me a loan. And there are no payday loans or anything like that here in GA and I’ve heard those aren’t good anyway – I’m trying my best to get out of debt and I’ve heard those just dig a deeper hole. :\
Trust me, I’ve tried to make a payment plan. When I called the first time, they threathened me with a lawsuit if I didn’t pay in full. They gave me no other option. When I called them again to make a payment plan, they said NO, too late. And now they called me and are saying that they are gonna have a warrant out for my arrest. This all happened in a 2 week period maybe.

Credit Solutions is a scam, they take your money to supposedly help with your debts. Funny how someone can end

up in court for none payment if this company was suppose to help. Then everytime you call your put on hold FOR an hour & no one gets back to you. This happened to a friend of mine. Just wanted to warn people about this company. Let you know if she gets any money back from the escrow. I bet not!!
